A stepper motor is usually operated in position open-loop control for simplicity. However, order to improve the transient and steady-state performances of motor-based drive system, a high performance system designed feed encoder signal back form closed-loop such as general servo drive, high-performance speed loop controller can then be used overcome nonlinear characteristics motor, cogging force impacts from external load. On other hand, existed hybrid must solved increase positioning precision. The variable structure (VSC) insensitive bounded uncertainty load disturbance, has been known controller. predefined sliding surface shape performances, incorporate with switching achieve robustness property. Thus, we applied VSC implement about control, force. field programmable gate array (FPGA) good alternative realize by considering its ability diverse designing environment.
